Big Game Awards
Awards night is coming on the evening of April 15th, so mark it in the calendar. This will be a night to get together with your friends and celebrate the accomplishments of our members. Big Game Awards, Angling Awards, and Club Awards will be handed out.
The Big Game Awards will cover the hunting seasons of 2021 and 2022 so please haul out those trophy’s taken and see how they match up.
The Angling Awards also cover the 2021 and 2022 seasons and as you are aware entries are documented by photography. The entry period has been extended to March 15th, 2023 so you have 10 more days to get your entries in.
Rules
The Lac Du Bonnet Wildlife Association presents awards to its members for the following Big Game categories.
- Best Whitetail Deer – (Peter Humble Award)
- Typical Whitetail Deer
- Non Typical Whitetail Deer
- Black Bear
- Moose
- Elk
Rules:
- The awards will only be presented to members of the association that are in good standing.
- The trophies submitted must have been harvested, in 2021 or 2022, in accordance with the hunting regulations of the province of Manitoba.
- The Boone and Crocket scoring system will be utilized to determine the winner. The largest “Net Score” will be declared the winner.
- Trophy heads will be submitted to the measuring judge upon request for measuring, with a completed application.
